Cabin assignment/flight assignment

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the thread...

 

I booked through Carnival with a "guarantee" cabin catagory of 8A. I also chose to have Carnival make flight arrangements.

 

How far out from the date of cruise do the cabins get assigned and when will the flight arrangements be made?

I dont know if its standard, but I am 47 days out and we received room confirmation about a week ago and we still dont have flight info. I am a little nervous about that and will be until is booked! The PVP said its no big deal right now.

Thanks. So about 60 days out we should have our cabin assignment. Who knows about flights. The airport we chose is losing airlines left and right, so who knows what they are going to do for us. I hope they don't think that they are going to bus us 100 miles to an airport and still have us pay those premium flight costs!

Our flight information was available on the carnival.com website a couple of weeks ago and we said 12/6. Our cabin still shows unassigned balcony

We are SUPPOSED to fly out of Lansing. I have this feeling Carnival is going to try to make us go to Detroit, even though that was a cheaper option.
