taxi from grand central to redhook

I just received a call from amtrak and was told that our train would be going to grand central station instead of penn station due to some repairs being done to the tracks.

we will be arriving Sunday morning. Will it be easy for us to get a taxi van from there? Also, what are the directions from there to redhook pier? Any info will be appreciated.:o

cabs line up at Grand central it shouldn't be a problem. Have the directions with you.

 

FDR(the east side highway also known as the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Highway) to Brooklyn Bridge. after the Brooklyn Bridge go straight ahead to Atlantic Avenue.

Make a right on Atlantic Avenue, after passing under the highway make the left turn

 

Make the First right

 

Follow that around until Browne Street make a right directly into the terminal

 

cost about $25.00 plus tip 20 minutes about in time.
