Wine on the Mariner

Is it worth buying the wine packages on the cruise? We are going on the Hogs on The High Seas on November 2nd. My wife likes to drink wine and it seems like the way to go.

When I cruised with my family, we always got the 7 bottle package (for the 7 night cruise). It worked well for us. However, now that I'm more familiar with different wines, I don't think I will purchase it. There's a great list that someone on here has put together about what kind of wines you can purchase and whether or not the package is a value if you want to drink those wines. Basically, if she's particular about the wines she drinks, it may not be the best option, because it limits your options substantially.
