Will try to get shuttle to Wonder lake, since hiking is limited can we have some time off shuttle in wheelchair? Hopefully we can get shuttle tickets in Dec for both Denali days. 4. Leave Denali, head south stay somewhere N/S of Anc, one night.Jun 17, 09 5. Hommer for two nights at Ocean Shores Hotel. June 18,19, 09. Tour Homer, spit, try to book day cruise, or day ferry... any suggestions ??? 6. Depart Homer, June 20 to Anc for overnight Clarion Suites. 7. Anc to Seward by Ak rr wih day cruise to Prince Willam Sound, board ship for cruise. DH can walk without chair short distance but no hiking for sure, but we did week in Amazon in tree house so he was able to do many things, just slower. mytime53 Posted October 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2008 Unless you have a specific reason to stay at McKinley Princess, I would suggest spending those 2 nights in the Mat-Su Valley (Wasilla-Palmer area). Far more to do with an 8-year old and someone with limited mobility. Otherwise, you will probably end up driving backwards to return to Talkeetna.
