Need a MOH gift idea

My fiance and I decided early on that we were not going to have a big wedding party - just a maid of honor and best man. Well, tonight I got a call from my cousin (maid of honor), saying that she just found out she's pregnant, and she's due the week of my wedding. She lives in West Virginia, and there's no way she could make it. We're both really upset, but happy at the same time. Even though I have to pick a new maid of honor, I want to buy her a really special gift to let her know that even though she's not going to be there, I still consider her my maid of honor.

 

Any ideas?

Does she happen to have a nice spa around her? They have great pregnancy massages! I'm sure towards the end she'll really love one!

What about something special from the ship with it's logo or from one of the islands.. kind of like she was there? You could even do a photograph with it, in your wedding ensemble. Just a thought

The spa idea sounds really fun - I know several moms-to-be that loved to get pedicures in the few months before they were due, since toes are hard to reach at that time. :)

 

Otherwise, maybe a nice piece of jewelry? I got my sister (MOH and only bridesmaid) a pearl/diamond solitaire from Blue Nile.

Another fun gift idea (nothing extravagant) that you might want to also give her would be to take a picture of you and your wedding party and have it super-imposed/edited with her face in the picture so it's like she was there. Now a days you can get people to do that stuff pretty easily! I bet she would get a kick out if it!

Things Remembered also have a ton of super cute stuff and if you check every so often things go on sale a lot!

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm leaning towards something that I could get personalized...maybe a piece of jewelry. I'll have to look around some more.
