I'm going on Carnival's Fantasy ship and I have a few questions....

What does aft mean?

Booking a Cat. 12, is it worth the price?

Do the doors to the balcony *slam* really hard?

Can you recommend a Cat. 12 that is in a quiet spot?

I saw one U111 near the elevator, is near the elevators good or bad?

What is a fun pass?

What's the balcony like? I couldn't really see the balcony from Carnival's website.

Thank you in advance for all of my questions. :)

I can answer some of your questions:

Aft means the rear of the ship - some of the balconies at the rear are larger than the ones along the side of the ship.

The Fun Pass is an online registration of your travel and ID information that you do on Carnival's website prior to your cruise. It speeds up the check-in process a bit to have it done and in their computer system before you get there. You can do this at any time after you have your Carnival booking number - just register on their website and click on "Complete your Fun Pass online".

I've never booked a balcony cabin, so I really can't answer those questions. I've only seen the balconies first hand on RCL.

Hope you enjoy your cruise! :D
