scully28 Posted October 22, 2008 #26 Share Posted October 22, 2008 I think it's a great that you want to tip extra and early in your situation. Well done! I suggest that you leave a $10 tip in your cabin each day (or every other day) for the stewart to find with a note of thanks and/or appreciation. yearnin4cruisin Posted October 22, 2008 #27 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Just a curiosity question here on my part, as I travel with my kids most of the time. I haven't ever pre-tipped the cabin steward but I have tipped in the dining room. Why? I can clean up after them in the cabin but can't be crawling around the dining room floor picking up crumbs around the chairs. So my question is, have you considered tipping the dining room staff early? Again, just curious!
