Cuban Cigars by Dock?

There is a cigar shop in town near Majesty jewelers. I don't recall it's name. They do sell authentic cubans (you can tell from the tax stamp).

I don't know if they will be open or not but we were in Phillipsburg on a holiday a few years ago and most shops opened late.

Stones is correct. There is a shop right on the dock (with the other shops) that has a fairly good stock of tax stamped Cubans. It is one of the first stores that you will come to. It sells shirts and other souveniers as well. SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST!!

If you want to purchase authentic Cuban cigars on St. Maarten, go to La Casa del Habanos on Front St. in Phillipsburg. DO NOT buy from duty free stores with signs touting “Authentic Cuban Cigars". There are only two officially licensed Habanos S.A. stores on the island. The other store is in the town of Marigot on the French side of the island.
