When is your Spring Break.

Recommended Posts

I'm a school board employee. My spring break is April 4-12. I'll be on the Legend that week. Quite a few other school employees from around the county will also be on that sailing. It seems like someone is always on break from early March until the second week of April.

Hey Marym933, I'll be on the Legend that week also for my spring break. The college age kids breaks are earlier by a week or two than K-12. I work for a school in Maryland. This will be my third spring break cruise:)

I am in PA and our district gets off Good Friday, and two days after Easter. Really messes up any week long vacations since it is only Friday to Tuesday off. We don't care, we are booked on the Glory 4-4-09 to 4-11-09! DD's first cruise:D

My sister lives in Melbourne Florida, (Port Canaveral area), and her children are out of school April 6-10th in 2009. It is the same here in Southeast Ga. I don't know when my son's college spring break is this year.

Same here up in metro Atlanta.

Ours is 4/4-4/12 this year...right around Easter. Kinda bummed it is so late. In the past, they've gone by the Ohio State University schedule a couple of years which is always mid to late March. Before that, we were homeschooling, so it didn't really matter. Now I have to wait until April 5 or 6 to be on a cruise again (well after the Thanksgiving one we have booked). Seems soooo late to me! By the time April rolls around, the weather isn't so bad here. Wish we could have a February break like some places are doing nowadays...that is the time when you really want to get the heck out of Ohio with the horrible weather...brrrrr:cool:.

Most Colleges & Universities in RI are off March 23-27th.

All Public school systems are off Feb 15-21 and April 12-18th.

This is usually the time when the college kids head to Ft. Lauderdale to hang out on the beach, while the public school kids head to Disney or on a cruise with their family.

We're booked on Miracles March 13th sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale, so it will be interesting to see how many college students will be on board.

I'm in the NW suburbs of Chicago and Spring Break at my daughter's school is the last week of March. Coincidentally, my son as at the University of Illinois in Champaign and his spring Break is the same week. I was surprised because they were a week off last year.
