River rafting in Jamaica?

Has anyone done river rafting on the rivers in the mountains on wooden rafts?Is it worth the trip and do they still do these excursions?:)

Are you referring to rafting on the Martha Brae? Friends have done it and said it was OK.....we tubed the White River and are doing it again in Feb. It was awesome!

DH and I tubed in Ocho Rios on the White River in September.... It was probably the best excursion we've done!!!

Never tried the rafting!!
