Road Maps???

Does anyone know where I can get a good roadmap of Barbados? We have decided to rent a car and explore the island ourselves. There are several beaches we would like to see especially Crane but like to move at our own pace. I have been trying to down load a map but to no success. Maybe someone would know if they provide you with a decent map of the area when you rent the car. We do have a Magellon GPS system but I don't think it will work in Barbados.

Alpmac, I see you will be on the Victory in a few days for the repositioning cruise. We will be sailing her in a few short weeks. Keep her clean for us.

Yes, the car rental agencies do provide a map for you.

A few years ago I found software for a GPS that included Barbados, but it was very basic. You might contact Magellon and see if they now have a downloadable Barbados map for their GPS units.

You'll love the East Coast....Looks much like the Oregon coast but warmer!

Head first toward the East coast and work your way West.

Best wishes for a great holiday! :) :) :)

Sorry, but I wanted to show just how similar were our two coasts.

This is a photo of Pistol River State Park on the mid-southern Oregon coast.

The water is in the 40-50's year around, but the whales love it, as do the Dungeness crabs that some of us get to enjoy (while I'm eating flying fish!).
