stellaB Posted October 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Just back from a wonderful cruise of French Polynesia using OS 8064. This is a beautiful suite but has one major drawback for anyone who likes to sleep late. It is directly beneath the busiest spot of the Panorama Buffet and you can clearly hear chairs scraping on the floor above from approx. 6-30 am onwards. Not what you want on your first morning after a very long journey from the UK but once you get into your cruise who wants to sleep late with such beautiful islands to visit? Seriously, avoid this suite if you have a choice but, if not, be prepared for an early morning wake-up call.

Thanks for the warning. We orginally had a deck 8 OS booked for our cruise on the Pacific next year. Checked with a friend and they said OH NO, choose deck 6, much quieter. So I quickly changed our booking while the OS on deck 6 was still available. Appreciate the warning though, and very glad we changed ours. I hope you had a wonderful time in FP, it is a lovely place and one of our favorites in the entire world. ;)
