TPA vs MCO for Cruise from Pt.Canaveral??

I just found a seat sale with United saving me about $300.00. The only problem is that it is landing in Tampa and not Orlando. I have never cruised from Port Canaveral and was wondering if it is worth the savings to rent a car and drive.

The other option of course is to spend the extra and land in Orlando.

What do you think?

I would take it and land in Tampa, the only difference is about an hour and a half drive since with either airport I would rent a car and drive to the port. (Rental car should be about the same price or not that much more from Tampa) $300 for an hour and a half is a pretty good rate of pay!
