Has anyone had any experience of the Savona shorex to the Aquarium?

I have been looking at this and think it will just fit the bill after a 'heavy' pre-cruise stay in Rome. However, what concerns me is the time available. Has anyone done this? If so, did you think you had enough time at the aquarium or was it a bit too rushed?

I generally don't do ship's shore excursions so have no recent experience of these. On the one hand it would be so much easier to be driven door to door, but I'm begining to think we may be better getting a taxi from the port to the station and going alone to allow us more time & flexibility. Are taxis readily available at the port? (Yes, I know we could probably walk to the station, but after the Vatican museums, I know the walk around the aquarium will be quite enough for me.:p :D )

Thanks. :)
