Guest KateKathy Posted November 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2004 We are on the Atlantica over Christmas and will be stopping at Catalina. While my husband golfs at Cosa de Campo, my 13 year old son and I will be at Catalina. Is it like the other lines private islands with beach, banana boats etc? Anyone been there? Anyone taken a golf excursion through Costa? Also anyone on our 12/19 cruise?
CruisinMatt Posted November 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2004 I found it very similar to the "private island" experience on other cruise lines, that's a great comparison. There are free beach chairs and umbrellas if you'd like and a delicious BBQ with live music. Plenty of activities the cruise staff organise for your boy to partake in. Guest KateKathy Posted November 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2004 you're the best - appreciate your quick response - not that active here on the Costa board.
Ta421sBtrHalf Posted November 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2004 Catalina Island was great. My DH and son spent the entire day there, and were disapointed when it was time to leave.
