shadwellal Posted November 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Going on Voyager of the Seas on Dec 28th with my wife and two teenagers (17 and 19), We are looking for an excursion in Cozumel and like the look of the Punta Sur Eco Park & Snorkel Safari - except my wife is a non-swimmer. She's quite happy to wait on the beach while we snorkel, but doesn't want to be waiting for hours. Has anybody done this trip and if so how long was the snorkelling part of the trip, and is there any any shade(either Parasols or a beach bar) on shore for non - snorkellers. Also wondering what the snorkelling was like in terms of fish, sea turtles etc?? Any advice would be much appreciated!
nolaAlive Posted November 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2008 When I did, the snorkel part was at the end of the tour and didn't last nearly as long as I would have liked. It is an active tour and it depends on how long people piddle at the various stops as to how much time is left for snorkeling. I think we might have snorkeled for 30-45 minutes max. Here are some pictures from the tour: http://www.zydecocruiser.com/fantasy_c_07/coz1/ps.htm
shadwellal Posted November 4, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted November 4, 2008 Thanks for that - I think we'll go for it then. Nice pics - especially like the sea turtle!
