Spirit 1/23/09 holiday inn on the bay

We have cruised out of San Diego many times, and always talk about staying at the Holiday Inn across the street from the port, for convenience and the short walk to seaport village which we love. :) But how do we get a good rate? It seems to be pretty pricey$$... How much did you pay? Any help on getting a good deal would be appreciated!

Its going for about $250.00 for four people with breakfast. Seems a little much. We always stay on Shelter Island and have never payed over $150.00 for four people. HELP!!

We paid $112 last year for a room but it did not include breakfast. We got that on the site captain kirk promotes.
