Galaxy Panama Canal - Which ports will use tenders?

Which of the ports for the Galaxy Panama Canal cruises will need to use tenders? We're on the Jan. 22, 2005 sailing for this cruise.

 

What are the tenders on Celebrity (Galaxy) like? On Princess, they use some of the life boats for tenders, I think. What about Celebrity?

 

Our ports are:

 

Cozumel mexico

Costa Maya mexico

Cristobal Panama Pier Panama

Puerto Limon Costa Rica

Montego Bay Jamaica

Georgetown Grand Cayman

 

Can anyone assist?

Have not been on the canal cruise yet, but can tell you that Cayman Islands and Jamaica were tendered when we were there. We docked in Cozumel -- twice we were there - and both disembarkations were at different places. They do use lifeboats to tender. Sometimes it depends how many ships are in port at various ports, but I know Caymans always has to be tendered -- shallow port.

Costa Maya has a port, a short walk to the entertainment/shopping area (but there's a tram also)
