Rental Jet Ski insurance

A post on another forum here made me think. I'll be on a jet ski and driving my own "speed" boat when in Key West in Feb. In the event of an accident I don't want to have to pay $1,000's for the damage. Is there a way to get insurance for the day to cover such things "just in case"?

That's a good question. I don't know of any company that sells insurance but that doesn't mean they don't exist. The companies have rules on how and where to ride and if you abide by them (stay 100 feet apart, stay in riding area, etc) the odds are very low that you'd damage a ski.

If I had an operation like that I would not sell it. It basically releases you of all responsibility and essentially gives you permission to trash a ski if you chose to.
