CaribbeanBound Posted November 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2004 I am looking to hear from draft beer lovers who have drinking experience in Nassau, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Tortola, and Key West. What are the best local brews available on draught, and where are the most fun places to find them?

trvlcarib Posted November 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2004 I am in the beer business and love my beer. Being in the beer business, you get to see some pretty nasty draft lines....after seeing that up in the states I usually buy bottled beer down in the islands unless I am at a nice resort. Usually we "beach" it for the day. Come to think of it..I don't remember too many draft options on the beaches. I have tried alot of the local brews in a bottle and could give you some ideas. WeBeCruisin' Posted November 8, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 8, 2004 My four favorites are Dragon Stout and Royal Extra Stout, both of which I've had in Key West, Presidente from the Dominican Republic and Carib from Trinidad. All are bottled, but are great Caribbean beers. The Dragon And Royal are dark, heavy "milk" or "sweet" stouts, and the other two are lighter lagers.
