Private Parties

I did try to search for threads concerning this topic. I have read quite a few reviews that say it is hard to go dancing on the ships because private parties are always in the clubs and/or other places one could dance. Are these just overly picky reviews or is this the norm? Will the hubby and I be able to dance most nights? Again, I did try to search so sorry if I missed this!

I've seen lots of private parties happening during the day and early evening, but never anything after dinner. I would think someone would have to pay a lot of money to close the disco after 10 pm!

Most of the time, the parties seem to be held at a time when the lounges wouldn't be open, anyway.

I figured it was just someone being picky but wanted to make sure. The hubby loves to dance, dance, dance! Didn't want to disappoint him. :)

Thank you!

Out of 9 cruises on Carnival, I think I've seen the disco closed at night maybe 3 nights total... it's not that often. I think most of those nights it was a crew thing... and the passengers were NOT happy, but like i said, it doesn't happen often. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I have only twice seen a club closed at night, one was the disco, A crew thing but over with before 10pm when people start arriving at the disco. the other was a wedding reception in the back lounge, the back lounge isn't used everynight for dancing anyway.

During the day you will probably see private parties & groups in a few lounges, some ships have the teen club or towel animal lessons in the Disco but there is nothing going on at that time of day, so you aren't missing anything.

I got my countdown clocks to work great on myspace but when i tryed to put them on here, it looked just like yours.

When other people are using them fine on CC.

I had to use different clocks. Try another count down clock with a different URL code.

We were on the Legend in October and the club/disco was closed on Wednesday....we were at Belize that day...I never did find out why, but there is some many other places to go with great music and a spot to dance...even if its a small spot...as a matter of fact after a few drinks at the casino we were dancing there....lol
