Specific Turtle Question

We are interested in seeing the turtles, but don't really want to do a Catamaran, and don't feel 100% comfortable swimming out from Paynes Bay. Are there any little boats that will take us from Paynes bay straight out to the turtles for a bit? If so, anyone ever do this? What's the average cost, how long do you spend out there? Thanks for any and all advice. We haven't totally ruled out the idea of swimming out, but we are not sure... any comments on that are appreciated as well!

Thanks! :)

Just got back. We were on a cruise and did the 5-Star Catamaran and Turtle Encounter. It was fabulous! You must were a life vest…no fins by the turtles. If the turtles are around, the crew bring them by the catamaran’s…you need not swim far. There were four turtles by us that day. You have plenty of time to see them. I got some great underwater movies of them. The reef/ship wreck was nice. Lot’s of fish to see. Lunch was good but I did not like the flying fish…tasted like blue fish. Crew was great!
