GoinCruisin Posted November 25, 2008 #26 Share Posted November 25, 2008 So I can go to the slot machine and swipe my S&S card for $100 and no fee will be charged... that's what I'm understanding, right? No fee from my credit card OR the 3% "entertainment" fee?I want to play some slots but not if it's going to cost me some extra fee, I'm sure I'll lose enough money to those machines. LOL I wasn't charged a fee on the Destiny, but rather than taking the word of perfect strangers on the internet, I would ask on the ship... just to be sure, as it sounds like for right now, there are different policies... but in all honesty, the most you would be charged would be 3%, and on the $100, you are talking $3.00... so really, when gambling, what's another $3?? :p LOL

lovin2cruise123 Posted November 25, 2008 Author #29 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I was just using that as a starting point... it's how many times I do that $100 swipe and then incure the $3 fee, that I'm afraid of. :p LOL It could really start to add up. :o Thank you all for your responses! :)
GoinCruisin Posted November 25, 2008 #30 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I was just using that as a starting point... it's how many times I do that $100 swipe and then incure the $3 fee, that I'm afraid of. :p LOL It could really start to add up. :o Thank you all for your responses! :) Even at the daily limit of $1000, you are only talking $30... don't stress too much over the fee, which you probably won't be charged... just ask when the casino opens. For me, I just walk by the casino and throw a bunch of money in, get charged no fee, same end result :p
kelz66 Posted November 25, 2008 #31 Share Posted November 25, 2008 This has got to the one of the most entertaining websites on the planet. I just sit back and read for quality entertainment. Where else can you go on the web and read a post asking a question about cash advances, and within fourteen responses, someone calling someone else an "ass"? Good times all around... Go Cats It's the best!!! :D
Heirloom Posted November 25, 2008 #32 Share Posted November 25, 2008 ..........or lack of fees. Am sure many of us spend an inordinate amount of time trying to get the best deals, discounts, negotiations...... ......followed up by an average significant LOSS gambling in the ship's casino. It's hysterical in our case as to how ecstatic we were over the military discount we received on our last cruise. And afterward, how LITTLE we discussed how much one of us plugged into slot machines over a 7 night period ! hehehehehehehehehehehehe

nealstuber Posted November 28, 2008 #34 Share Posted November 28, 2008 It actually said no fee? If it did then it must be new.......Did you draw off your sail and sign account or did you ask for a cash advance? One of the buttons on all the slots said something like "Debit Sail and Sign" It said - "NO Charge" then asked for the Pin and deposited it in to my casio bank. We used it a couple times for play and again at the end when I realized I wanted to give the wait staff something extra and had left all my cash in the room.
