Rental Cars/Van vs. Taxis to Crane Beach for 12 ?

Hello All,

 

We are a large group of 12 looking to visit Crane Beach for the day in early February '09.

We will be in port from 7:30am to 4:00pm. We're considering renting a Van, SUV, or two

mid-size cars, vs. taking 3 or 4 taxis ?

 

Any recommended car rental companies that are available near the cruise port terminal

in Bridgetown ? How much should we expect to pay for a 1 day car rental, inclusive of

taxes & insurance ?

 

Should we be concerned about driving ourselves to Crane and back ? Do they drive on the

right or left side of the road in Barbados ? Any and all suggestions and/or recommendations

would be greatly appreciated.
