danamyt Posted November 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2004 Will be cruising the Grandeur out of New Orleans over Thanksgiving with another family. We have some questions - 1. Is there an arcade for 10-15 yr. olds? If so, how are the games paid for, as in quarters, tokens, etc. 2. We are in a category N room on the third deck. Are there hairdryers? Are there safes? 3. I would like to prepare my tips ahead of time, is there a tipping chart somewhere? 4. I know that jeans and shorts are not allowed at dinner in the dining room. My friend has a 10 year old who is partial to his khaki cargo pants. Are these allowed on casual nights, or only traditional khakis.
redhead621 Posted November 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2004 Here is a link to a tipping calculator, http://members.aol.com/CruiseTip/ Kids are fine in the dining room with cargo pants. I believe that there is a safe and hairdryer in all cabins. If I remember correctly, you can either put a specific amount onto their cruise card and they can use it for the arcade or there may a card for the the arcade that you can purchase separately. If someone else doesn't have the answer for the arcade, I'll ask my son when he gets home from school. He'll remember. Have a great cruise and Happy Thanksgiving.
