sk8teacher Posted December 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2008 We will be in Fort Lauderdale March 9-11, and would like to take a tour through the Everglades. Both of us are avid amateur nature and wildlife photographers so that is what we are primarily interested in. We are staying at ESA on 17th and will have a rental car. A search of the area reveals several tour operators but not being familiar with the area, we are looking for any recommendations that locals may have. Thanks so much, cheers! bills blasters Posted December 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2008 We went on a tour last Jan. I think it was called Holiday everglades park. Or, at least it had the work Holiday in it. We were able to see alligators and lots of different birds. The guide was really good about pointing out all the different wildlife and plants, etc. Try to get on the end of the seat when you get on the boat. I was sitting on the end, and got great pictures of alligators that came right up to our boat. Just a foot away. We like the tour a lot, and got some great pictures. If I knew how to get them on these boards I would post them, but haven't quite figured that out yet. claudia
