Park/Cruise/Fly--Red Roof Inn--The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

Hi, I plan to spend 1 night at the Miami airport Red Roof Inn, leave my car there for 4 nights, and shuttle to a POM cruise. I would love to hear of anyone else's recent experiences with doing this exact thing. Thanks

Over on the florida departures board there was some pretty negative reviews about red roof inn and some vehicle break-ins. This happened while the person was still at the hotel. Free shuttles to MIA and POM would be nice but I don't know if I would want to leave a car parked there.

You might want to check with LaQuinta EAST who offers free shuttle and more than likely parking deals. A lot of CC people have stayed there and said it was a decent place.

 

I do know that RRI's have outside doors (which I don't find all too secure); though I can't speak of this particular one.
