Port Excursion Pricing...

I Saw a few ads on this website, about http://www.kingdavid.com.mx/ , http://www.mazatlantours.org/cruise-shore-excursions.htm for their "non" ship scheduled excursions, they say they are like half the price, but i wonder is it any cheaper with the vendors at port, or maybe at another website? How "fair" are these prices?

We did a King David tour to Stone Island while we were in Mazatlan last month and it was waaay cheaper than on the ship. Our guide was very good, fun, and really took care of us! Here is the link to the excursion we took with them. It included a full lunch (and was substantial) and open bar (the drinks were actually strong!) plus our choice of two activities. YOu can always try to bargain with the vendors at port, at least 30% off of the public price. In my opinion it is cheaper to use the independent tour operators through the website, I found that you can save up to 60% on the excursions verses what the cruise ship sells them for. The cruise ship also offers transportation but if you take a taxi you will still pay less than you would through the ship.

Are you saying that the venders at the port are only 30% off the cruise ship price? And that the website IS the cheapest places to go?
