Zenith Nov 21- Ports of Call

Most of the ports on the 14 night cruise on Zenith are new to me(dollyo's husband), so I would like to find out what anyone can recommend for me for San Juan, St Thomas, St Kitts, Barbados or St Maartan. We have cruised a few times but not to these places, although we are really looking forward to seeing new sights. Any suggestions for any or all of these ports would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on your likes and dislikes. Pick up a copy of Frommers travel guide for the Caribbean Islands and read. Local libraries have these guides.

Here's what we did.

San Juan Walking tour through old town and out to the fort.

St. Thomas Cab to Megan's Bay for a few hours on the beach and then a few hours back in the downtown shopping district.

St Marteen's Snorkel/boat tour. This was on a WWII converted landing craft and included about 1-1/2 hours of snorkeling and one hour of boat sightseeing of island (sightseeing complete with complimentary rum punch). It was 1st time snorkeling for 65ish couple and everything was great.

Have a great time and say "Hello Dolly" for us!

Hi there

We are on the same cruise.

We have been to these ports before and there is plenty of choice for things to do.

We have booked the catamaran trip Fan te sea on St Kitts but the last 2 trips to St Kitts we jumped a taxi to Turtle beach and had a lovely time.

On St Thomas we usually shop

On St Maarten we go to the beach or book the Golden Eagle catamaran trip. Have not been to Megans Bay but we ask our taxi driver to find us a nice beach and hotel not too far away. Its usually much cheaper than Megans and just as nice so I'm told.

St Juan. Last time we were there by accident in the pouring rain so we stayed in the hotel.

See you on board
