seamour Posted June 24, 2009 #51 Share Posted June 24, 2009 Cruisetexas, I have posted these photo several times so I post again to answer your questions. You can be as active and explore as much as you want or you can take it a little easier. DH did a lot more exploring than I did but I did see a lot. Just wear good shoes not flip flops and you will be OK. I did not climb in any small area or climb up high but enjoyed it all the same. Good Luck. http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee20/TomPrice0/Virgin%20Gorda/ cool pics, and thanks everyone for all the info! :D

Friscorays Posted June 29, 2009 #53 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Aznaphrodite, Thank you for the link to your trip report. I had the Roti Palace on my list of things I wanted to do, now I'll move it up to the must do list for our upcoming trip this December. It is a small world after all, we live in Frisco and love Disney World as well (my family lives in Tampa so we have an excuse to generally go once a year). Thanks again, John

I wish I had an excuse to go to WDW once a year!! Roti Palace was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! My husband wants to go back to Tortola just to have another one. Defintiely THE best thing we ate during the entire cruise! You must go!! I wish you could me back one!!! :D

tyrannosaur Posted January 22, 2010 #58 Share Posted January 22, 2010 We really want to see the Baths, though have two concerns: 1) we have a 1 yo and a 4 yo toddlers, and wonder if this would be possible. 2) our cruise Solstice would arrive tortola around 8AM and depart by 2PM, and they don;t offer any excursion to Baths. Can we make it on time with an independent guy? Thanks. chuck

You would be so rushed it might not be worth it, especially with the little ones. We didn't even have time to explore the entire area, we just went through the boulders and on to Devils Bay. If you are ok with rushing through then give it a try. Just remember that even though you dock at 8, you will lose some time while customs clears the ship. Then factor in the time to debark and get to the ferry. It would be really tight.
