sviramo Posted December 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2008 We are arriving in Tampa early in the morning, about 5:30am. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for things that we could do that aren't expensive but would keep us entertained for a few hours. We will have our luggage so we maybe limited. Miata Posted December 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Do you have a rental car? Tarpon Springs is about 15-20 miles north and is a really neat Greek village where they used to do sponge fishing.

Theres not a lot open at 5:30am. An easy answer is the Florida Aquarium but they don't open till 9:30am. Its the building right next to the Carnival Port. Check with the office that handles car rentals next to the entrance of the port. They will hold your luggage for a few dollars if its before the terminal opens. They also had discount coupons for the Aquarium. http://www.flaquarium.org/ Other than that, I would suggest a coffee shop for some serious caffeine after that red-eye flight!
