Dzibilchaltun + Reef Hotel - arrange private taxi?

I've been reading about what folks have done at Progreso - we lean more towards putting together something independent than buying a ship's tour. Would like to see some Mayan ruins, but not willing on this trip to bus 1.5 - 2 hours. So the best option is Dzibilchaltun? Friends travelling with us would like a nice pool for the teens. So I'm thinking that means the Reef Hotel after seeing the ruins?

 

Can someone give me approx travel times/distance from Progreso to Dzibilchaltun and then to Reef Hotel? We are on Fantasy so at Progreso 7a-4p.

Shouldn't be a problem getting a taxi to take you to DZ, wait and then on to the

Reef. Guessing about $35-40. Then pay the hotel's day pass price. and then $25-30 for a return taxi. Allow some extra time for the hotel to get you a taxi for your return.
