Cruising on Tahitian Princess ? re. Moorea

Recommended Posts

I posted this question on the French Polynesia board but there is not a lot of traffic there so I figured I would post it here as well.

We are staying on Moorea pre cruise and are researching restaurants. I remember reading in an old post about a restaurant people liked whose name translated was something about a tirtle. I can't find the old thread that spoke about this. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

If not other restaurant recommendations would be great!

Thanks,

Hilary

czarinahil,

You are thinking of Te Hono Iti on Cook's Bay. It was not open the last time I was on Moorea, but they get excellent reviews at other sites. I plan to go next month during our next stay. For general restaurant discussions about Moorea, try the Tahiti-Explorer site (http://www.tahiti-explorer.com/) and go to their bulletin board, then look under "Moorea - misc." There is usually a recent thread going about eating spots on Moorea.
