pdxmomto2 Posted December 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Hi, we will be on the Oosterdam next week and I am wondering if any one has a price list for spa services. I'm particularly interested in pedicures and manicures. Thanks!
matondo Posted December 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Look out for in port specials. Also enter the contest at the beginning of the week, they hand out the entry forms when you embark. My daughter was runner up and got 50% of any spa service. We had a mother daughter massage and I think the cost was $133 for both of us. It was wonderful. Lady Vidora Posted December 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Do you know of any couples treatments? Or where I could find the spa menu
auntdana Posted December 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2008 on all crusielines spa treatments are super pricey best bet is to get a manicure/pedicure before you leave home. you can pay for 2 manicures/pedicures on land, for what you will pay on the ship
CowPrincess Posted December 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2008 where I could find the spa menu If you look under "For Booked Guests" (I think), then "Gifts", some of the spa services will come up.

Sometimes "value" is more important than "price". I love getting a pedi onboard, looking out at the ocean, feeling the ultimate pampering. Can't afford the splurge too often, but I do so love it :)
cruz chic Posted December 19, 2008 #8 Share Posted December 19, 2008 I paid $25 for a polish change only. I think this is a lot when it only cost $10 at home. She was also very rude and told me I should be getting a pedicure instead. I had just got one maybe 2 weeks before. On the same cruise they had a massage special that I wanted to try. I told her I need it to hurt or I'm not happy. They told me it would cost $10 more on top of the price special. I swear it's the best massage I've ever had. She was awesome! There are not many deals to be had but if you enjoy it why not. That said, I would for sure avoid the polish change in the future.
CowPrincess Posted December 19, 2008 #9 Share Posted December 19, 2008 I paid $25 for a polish change only. Even out here, where a mani is $40 and up, and a pedi starts at $80, that seems pretty darned high! I think my toes would just have to be chipped for a few days. if you enjoy it why not Yeah, I agree -- as long as you aren't starving your kids to pay for a treat for yourself, why not? :D
