Look out for in port specials. Also enter the contest at the beginning of the week, they hand out the entry forms when you embark. My daughter was runner up and got 50% of any spa service. We had a mother daughter massage and I think the cost was $133 for both of us. It was wonderful.

on all crusielines spa treatments are super pricey

best bet is to get a manicure/pedicure before you leave

home. you can pay for 2 manicures/pedicures on land,

for what you will pay on the ship

Thank you, but we enjoy our Spa treatments on a cruise.

Sometimes "value" is more important than "price". I love getting a pedi onboard, looking out at the ocean, feeling the ultimate pampering. Can't afford the splurge too often, but I do so love it :)

I paid $25 for a polish change only. I think this is a lot when it only cost $10 at home. She was also very rude and told me I should be getting a pedicure instead. I had just got one maybe 2 weeks before. On the same cruise they had a massage special that I wanted to try. I told her I need it to hurt or I'm not happy. They told me it would cost $10 more on top of the price special. I swear it's the best massage I've ever had. She was awesome! There are not many deals to be had but if you enjoy it why not. That said, I would for sure avoid the polish change in the future.

Even out here, where a mani is $40 and up, and a pedi starts at $80, that seems pretty darned high! I think my toes would just have to be chipped for a few days.

Yeah, I agree -- as long as you aren't starving your kids to pay for a treat for yourself, why not? :D
