Does the AE penthouse have access to the private courtyard?

Hello all,

We are somewhat confused as to whether the AE penthouses on the Gem have courtyard access or not.

 

I don't believe they do but on the NCL website it seems to cluster all "top suites" with the new 2.0 upgrades.

Just curious if we would have that to look forward to, I like the quiet areas when possible.

No, AEs do not have access. Only A1, A2, A3, A4 and AA.

Only the suites on Deck 14/15, plus the four Owner's Suites on lower decks, have access to the Courtyard.

Even the large 'BA' penthouses on Deck 11 -- essentially identical to the Courtyard Villas in layout and size -- are excluded.

That would be the "AB penthouses on Deck 11".

 

BA are balcony staterooms.
