Caribbean Sunsets Posted December 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2008 I would recommend the sting ray tour. You can look at the one through your ships excursions or you can book it on your own. There are several wonderful private companies listed on this thread. Personally, I used Nativeway last month and would certainly recommend them. The sting rays are amazing, gentle creatures and you are on a sand bar and the water is only about 3' deep so it should be fine for a 9 year old, too. TMWTim Posted December 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2008 If you haven't done it in the passed, the Stingray excursion is a 'must' in GC.
Barefoot Sailor Girl Posted December 25, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 25, 2008 Agree - a stingray & snorkel tour is a must. The reef snorkeling is absolutely mesmerizing.
oldgot Posted December 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Took my daughter on Moby dicks snorkle & stringray tour. She sat on the boat & didnt snorkle so they threw food into the sea so the fish would come & feed so that my daughter saw some fish! They also got her into stingray city but you can see them from the boat. then you can all enjoy the day together.Moby dick are at the pier 8am & 11am.
