pconkli1 Posted April 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Is there a difference if you cab it, or take rccl transfers? Thanks, P&V
lauren0309 Posted April 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Take the cab. Its cheaper and you don't have to wait for all the other flights to come in before you can go to the ship. We once took the transfer and had to wait at the airport for over an hour waiting for other flights to come in to fill up out bus. With the cab you get a ticket (its one set price approx. $18) at the airport and get a taxi waiting right outside and you will be driven right to the ship. lauren0309 Posted April 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 As far as I know Royal Caribbean does not offer a tranfer for only one way. There will be cabs when you get off the ship. It is only a 10 minute ride to the airport. Till the Enchantment! gkrebs Posted April 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Your flight depature time depends alot on who your flying and the size of the ship your coming off of. We were On AOS 2 years ago and barely made a 1:30 flight at of San Juan, and only becasue we were first class pax on Delta Last year, coming off the Dawn Princess and on American, we were at the airpoprt and checked in at 10:10. We got off the ship at 9:30 American Airlines has there own side at San Juan and is alot better able to handle the crowds, The other side with Delta, Continental and others can not handle the volumes as well. If you on either of these airlines, take a flight home around 3:00. It can take hours to get through these lines. That is if you are traveling on a Saturday or Sunday. Monday departures are not quite as bad.
