Info on Carriage rides in Progresso or Coz

I have seen a few people mention "carriage rides" in both of these ports, can you please tell me about them? Cost, where to, length, where to purchase.

The carriage rides, that I know of, are in Merida. They leave from the historical area's central plaza and take you out onto Paseo Montejo, a broad, upscale and somewhat European style boulevard and return. About 50 minutes for $20US. The carriages hold four adults comfortably and also could take a couple of small kiddos. Excellent value and great sightseeing. The local bus to Merida costs three dollars round trip.

How long is the bus ride/tour to Merida?

Public bus takes about 45 minutes and costs $3.00 round trip. Runs about every 15 minutes,.

is it worth doing both the carriage ride AND the turibus or do they go to the same area?

The Turibus does a scenic loop from downtown to the Gran Plaza mall in the nothern part of the city, while the horse n carriage is mostly downtown and along Montejo, Merida's main avenue. :)
