Booking Hotel Cruise after Thanksgiving FLL

We will be leaving on the Sunday after Thanksgiving Thursday. We are thinking of flying in on Friday so would need a hotel on Friday and Saturday. For anyone who has done the cruise directly following Thanksgiving, are the hotel prices really expensive that weekend? Any particular recommendation for Hotels? Any trouble booking hotels for that weekend? We don't mind paying for a nice hotel but want to keep in reason.
