Looks like were gonna arrive 3-5 days before our cruise. Thing we plan on doing is Flamenco Beach & Carlos Rosario Reef on Isla Culebra, the Bio Bay & the rain forest. Since all these are closer to Fajardo, were just gonna rent a car when we get off the plane & drive there. Im looking for any reasonable priced hotels in Fajardo, and good places to eat. Thanks All

I looked at your last vacation and it looks like you are a family of 4.

I would suggest you start looking at condos or rentals in the area where you have room to spread out and maybe a kitchen etc. Or else you will be stuck in a hotel room, trying to be quiet once the little ones go to bed on the couch.

Look at VRBO.com or VRConnection.com for places. Anywhere from Rio Grande/Luquillo to Fajardo should be fine for your needs. Or even Ceiba is close.

For hotels/B&B's in Fajardo- El Conquistador, Fajardo Inn, or Passion Fruit B&B.

You need to rent a car in that area. With a car, you are mobile to stay or eat anywhere.

We love Lolita's Mexican in Luquillo/Fajardo border and El Estacion in Fajardo. But there are lots of places in Fajardo and many have seafood and PR food.

Here is some info on places to eat in the Rio Grande/Luquillo/Fajardo area:

We did the same thing last year and ended up finding a great little inn in Ceiba. Cieba is just 7 miles from Fajardo Beach but you will need a Garmin to find it. The night we were looking for it it was PORRING and the time was aproaching midnight so myabe it's not THAT hard to find HOWEVER the rooms were HUGE!!!! and the VIEWS WERE INCREDIBLE. And the best part...$85 per night. Its located right at the foot of El Yunque and was PERFECT!!!!

The owners were 2 people that moved from Vermont to open the hotel, and they are VERY NICE. There are lots of Dogs and Cats on the proporty too.

The other hotels and properties we looked into all wanted more than $200
