Priceline and Hotels near Miami Airport

My husband and I are using Priceline for the first time. What is a good price for a 3 star hotel near the Miami airport, through Priceline?

Also has anyone used Priceline to rent their car. Can you get a good deal?

I got the Radisson downtown for $40 (plus tax), some people I was with got it for $35-$38.

Never rented a car through Priceline.

I would start ith 35 and stop at 40. If your bid is not accepted at 40 then wait the 72 hours and try again. It took me a good two weeks before it was accepted. Only do this if you are NOT traveling during a holiday time period coz then it wont be accepted.
