Coco421 Posted January 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Are there any restaurants that are for adults only or are kids welcome to all of them?
OceanDreaming2 Posted January 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2009 All the restaurants are "family-friendly" however, LeBistro is the most likely to be adult oriented.

Planer's Edge Posted January 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2009 I would say that Cagney's might be in a similar boat as LeBistro due to the price. PE
CanadianTwosome Posted January 4, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Children are welcome in all the venues. We take our daughter with us to Cagney's, Teppanyaki, and the Asian restaurant, and we would also take her along to any of the others if we went to them. (we'd never hear the end of it if we had Le Bistro escargot and she wasn't there!!) I can't tell you why other parents do or do not take their kids to the specialty restaurants. Price is not a factor for us, but whether she would like the food is. Fortunately, her behaviour allows us to make whatever choice appeals to us without having to worry about others. :)

PE Actually the reason I asked this question is because we want to go to Cagney's but want to take our kids 13 & 10 with us.

You will not have a problem taking your kids to any restaurant onboard that you want to take them to. I do think, as a kid, I would have been bored to tears with LeBristro, but thats just me. Oddly enough I didn't develope into a foodie until I was an adult.. heheheh. I think it is great that CT exposes her daughter to different dining venues and if we are ever lucky enough to take my great nephews and nieces on a cruise with us, I will do the same. Children are welcome everywhere on board an NCL ship with the exception of the casino. CMA: There might be more exceptions that I am not aware of. I only suggested that Cagney's "might" be cost prohibitive to taking children. But, obviously cost is not an issue to some people. PE

We promised kids they wouldn't have to go to any kids clubs. We want to spend vacation time together.

I personally make it a habit of skipping lunch the day we go to Cagney's as there is so much to choose from and the portions are quite generous.
