I have found that it is the the ONLY type of vacation that truly forces me to relax and do nothing- Because when my husband and I travel for a week or so to a new place we go non stop, 24-7, and you can't really do that on a ship.

I get up at 5 am and hubby likes to sleep in. I can go get breakfast, take a walk and explore instead of sitting in a hotel room chair waiting for the prince to awaken. There is literally something for everyone on a cruise ship. It's also great to have someone else do the driving.

Yes all of the above! And my DH is the early riser, so he has tons to do and leaves me sleep. Then at night he can go to bed earlier and I hit the casino or clubs! We do actaullu spend some time together, but hey we have been married 35 years!

I love getting away from the blasted phone! But really, I think another reason we love to cruise is that all decisions are made for us. My dh and I stress out over which restaurant should we choose, what should we next... yadda, yadda, yadda . Also, a BIG plus is having Adventure Ocean for our son. Babysitting built in - oh yeah!!!!! Mom and day get time alone, kid has fun, mom/dad/son hang out a bunch snorkeling, and we are all happy! And I always dreamed of having my own domestic staff ...!

Jim, I want you on our next cruise!

I can sit by the pool, DH can join all the games, art shows and bingo. He doesn't worry about me like he does on a land vacation. Knows I'll be safe and happy when he returns.

7 previous cruises, Hawaii on Legend scheduled May 2004, and Enchantment Oct 2004
