Are rolling carts allowed?

Is it permissible for us to put our carry on bags in a rolling cart (shopping/flea market type)? It would be very helpful for us at debarkation. Has anyone ever done this?

I use a 20" rolling bag. It is about the size of those folding plastic carts from the office supply store. I have never seen a wire grocery cart (if that is the size youare thinking about). IMO, it would be awkward to get around.

It's not really a shopping cart. It's about 3.5 inches tall and about 2 feet wide. We use it to carry supplies (cooler, bags, extra stuff) when we set up at the flea market. Just easier than carrying it.

You can use the cart as long as it will fit through the X-ray machine. If it is too large Carnival will ask you to either check-it or not use it at all. This is from the Carnival FAQ:

 

In many ports, guests have the option of carrying luggage on board at embarkation and off the ship at the end of the cruise as long as it does not exceed 24"w x 16"h. This is an advantage you may want to consider as it will allow for quicker easier access to your bags.

We carry a small folding, plastic, collapsible hand truck with us. Fits through the e-ray machine just fine...............
