Is It time to start a ROLL CALL ?? :D:D
Id have to say we are getting close to that. Im thinking the only reason one hasnt been started is because we arent officially a "Group Cruise" until we have the rates, etc.

Im not 100% sure, VT can clarify on this, but I think once we become offical we get our own section of boards or something like that?!!?

Ok guys - just because VT is gone on business does not mean that we cant keep this thread going! I cant post during the day because of work but I thought someone might post today while I was gone.

So, ok Ill start - Im ready for the cruise!! What is everyone looking forward to? Im ready for Belize most of all. That and being back on the Jewel again.

We just came home from the Jewel this week and I can't wait to be back out there!!!

I'm also looking forward to Belize. We were there last year on the Sun, but because of rough seas all the excursions were cancelled. Later in the afternoon we were able to go ashore but we had limited time and really just visited the shops, I would really like to see more this time.

I can't wait to here back about prices....we're hoping to make it a big family cruise. The more the merrier!!!!

I agree - the more the merrier!!! We are seeing if some family want to come as well. How was your trip in the Jewel??

I think we are going to do some Ruins this year in Mexico - we are going South of Playa Del Carmen - north of Tulum - in May - so I may be ruined out.

We LOVED the Jewel. The ship is beautiful, the crew was very friendly, polite and we had them kidding around with our group in no time!

The shows were great, the comedian...hysterical. We even won twice in bingo! However, we did nothing but lose in the casino.lol

The noro was runnning wild about midway through, we went to silver service which made service a lot slower, but it was for the good of everyone. Even with the extra stress, the crew was great!

We were on the Jewel in March of 06 and loved her. Sorry to hear about the noro - but it sounds like they got it under control and luckily you didnt pick it up.

My husband likes to pick on me about our casino trip on the Jewel - he handed me a 20 (slots) and he went to the bathroom - when he came back it was gone. Oops! :(

50 degrees?! That is a heatwave to us Northerners LOL :p

Thanks for posting the pics - very cool! And good idea with the map.

The Mayan Ruins in Belize look neat. I have seen several in Mexico before. Not sure which are closest to Costa Maya though?

Where are you located Biker? We had -28 two mornings last week in VT!! Is AF a mini-suite? Sometimes they really aren't all that much more than a balcony cabin. I'm still interested in trying an aft balcony...Are those usually the same price as a standard balcony cabin?

1/2 hr N.W. of Bean town. BA aft is the same price as any other BA.
Balcony,s get $150 obc Mini $300 if you figure that into your over all price it's $10 difference for the aft mini. :)

Are you from Merrimack, NH or MA? DH grew up in Merrimack, NH.

I suppose those nice wrap-around corner aft balconies would be quite a bit more huh? That is what I'm interested in...ya know champagne taste on a beer budget! :p LOL

Has anyone looked at any excursions yet? I mean I know its a long way off but I found this on the Roatan board and it looks awesome...

That looks great! Maybe we could plan a Family Jewels Group Excursion there? It says they cater to groups...something to look into. Looks like it has a little something for everyone too.
