does anyone know about the bug situation in cabo san lucas, mazatlan, and puerto vallarta??? we will be there spring break April 12-19 and are looking to book a sunset horse ride and BBQ in PV?

By "bugs" I assume you are concerned about the biting kind that give some people grief. Spiders and other crawly tropical critters will leave you alone if you do the same.

April is the tail end of the dry season in the Bandaras Bay area. Flying insects area rare during this time of year. What we have encountered, away from the metropolitan area, are the no-see-em / sand flea / chigger type critters that seem to love some people and ignore others in the same place at the same time. Avoid sitting in the dirt and take alone any of the standard sprays/lotions for use on you lower legs/ankles.

Enjoy!
