Westerdam Cabin ?

We will be in cabin 4163 in March on the Westerdam. My mother, who will be with us, has just had some health issues and may be using a walker at times. Is there a lip to the bathroom entrance, or any other obstruction on the floor that may be an issue for her? I'm hoping it's easy to get out on the verandah so she can be there if she doesn't feel like venturing further.

Thanks for all info!

Regular cabins on the Westerdam have a step up into the bathroom and a step down onto the verandah. Others can probably elaborate on how a handicapped cabin is setup but you may want to consider switching to one if there are any available. Here designated handicapped on that deck from looking at the deck plan here http://book.hollandamerica.com/fleet/deckPlan.do?ship=we&deck=up&year=next.
