waid10 Posted January 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2009 I am looking to book a room for 4 at Comfort Suites to get the 4 passes to Aquaventure. Choicehotels.com is quoting me a AAA rate of $305.90. Does anyone know what the accompanying taxes and fees will be? Booking this excursion through NCL is $119/person (or $480 total), so it appears that even with the cost of transportation (and taxes and fees on the room) it is likely still cheaper to book the room at CS to get access to Aquaventure. Does anyone know about the fees and taxes amounts?

Children 12-15 years of age are charged a $4 per night housekeeping gratuity. Person 16 years and older are charged as adults. Third or fourth adult in room are charged $40 per night plus taxes and service charges per night. Energy surcharge: $14 per adult per night. Housekeeping gratuities: $4 per adult per night This adds up quickly..
waid10 Posted January 15, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Wow, that is a lot in taxes and fees. All four are adults. Here is how I have it: 305.90 36.71 (12% resort tax; or is this charged against total?) 80.00 (charges for 3rd and 4th guests) 56.00 (energy surcharges) 16.00 (housekeeping gratuity charges) $494.61 Total Does that sound right? If so, the $119/p fee for the excursion through NCL does end up being better.

During spring break (high season) not so much.
