Holland America Ryndam 2/23 Mexico Water Temps

The Pacific side tends to be colder than the Caribbean. We snokeled at Cabo and I would say that the water was about 5 degrees colder than in the USVI. Up in the gulf of California it may be better.

Last April late in the month went on a sail/snorkel cruise in Cabo. The Capt. of the vessel said the water temp was 65F - too chilly for me. I had to wrap up in a blanket when we sailed at a fast pace and got sprayed by the waves in the stern of the boat. Those who snorkeled wore wet suits supplied by the vessel. They all got stung by tiny jelly fish. The water was very clear and we could see all the fish right from the boat. There was no need to snorkel to see the beautiful colours. Gail:eek:

:D I have a water temp chart that shows the water temp 65 to 74 Jan thru March. I snorkeled in Cabo in mid March 07 2007 and the water was freezing. I lived on the coast of Maine for 12 years and that was cold water. I'm older now but the water was really cold in Cabo and I imagine it will be around 65 in Feb. Good luck
